we lose eighteen to four.  silver lining is the improvement in the offense. not so silver lining is none of you gets raped to death, Gets aids from the raping, or really puts up any sort of fight at all which kind of makes it not a rape at all.

How awesome is Vin Scully?  Other teams and networks try all types of crazy shtein with their commentators.  They rotate them throughout the game, put a half dozen of them in the booth and often times over analyze the crap out of the game. 

Meanwhile, Scully just sits in the booth by himself and calls the game while telling one story after the other and he tells it as if you were sitting right next to him.  No analyzing a pitcher's mechanics or a batter's swing.  No obnoxious hr calls or any crazy gimmicks.  Just Scully and anyone lucky enough to be tuned in. 

A week or so ago there were rumors floating all over LA sports radio shows saying that Scully had called a press conference for later that same day and that he was expected to retire after this season.  Turned out to be totally false and there was no presser even scheduled.  So he'll be back next year for I believe his 62nd year calling games for the Dodgers.  Amazing.

and where would the phillies be without the random 3 run homer. its pretty much the entire offense.
