The BIGSTUD

Once Blanton comes back the rotation should settle in. I have confidence Happ will be very good, and Hamels is up in the air, but at the very least he should be better than 2009 if not a lot better in the long run. But Kendrick and Moyer are garbage and are good for at least 5 runs per game. Once Blanton comes back it should be ok.

Plus the prospects are available to get another arm later in the season if needed and Pedro is always around.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

charlies first L of the season

how do you not walk pudge there

yea i was following along on gameday and was wondering what the farg was going on

most likely charlie was scared of them phing for capps with a lh, so he took his chances r/r with pudge. even though capps was probably staying no matter what. and hes matt capps. and he sucks.

looks like an epic, epic charlie fail.

riggleman was threatening with adam kennedy...hes like .100 hitter...you face him over pudge anyday...and thats IF riggleman even would have pulled capps which was far from a guarantee

but even if he does it gets their closer out of the game and brings in someone from a terrible and dead tired bullpen

yea no doubt

probably with that manuel let madson do his thing and hope he wouldnt give pudge something to hit. of course thats a little too much rope for ryan madson. in fact thats a little too much rope for any non all star pitcher. like you give that to hof halladay and lidge if hes on. otherwise you go out there and tell them what to do.

still you knew manuel and the bullpen were gonna cost them games, as they do every year, so this is just the first of many.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

That's the disturbing part, just the first of many.

if charlie and the pen cut down the losses by 3 we win our division that much easier than the prior three seasons.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A New Jersey man is facing charges after police say he intentionally vomited on an 11-year-old girl and her father in the stands during a Phillies game.

Twenty-one-year-old Matthew Clemmens, of Cherry Hill, N.J., was arraigned Friday on charges stemming from his behavior at Wednesday night's Phillies-Nationals game.

Police say Clemmens made himself vomit on an off-duty police captain and his daughter after a companion was kicked out for unruly behavior.

Easton police Capt. Michael Vangelo says he saw Clemmens put his fingers down his throat. Philadelphia police say Clemmens also punched Vangelo and vomited on an arresting officer.

Clemmens is in custody on charges including assault and harassment. Bail is $12,000. His listed phone number is disconnected.
