Wild Card? This team will be lucky to go .500 the next 7 weeks playing mostly AA affiliates. And I was concerned about the Rays, Braves and Brewers coming up.

i dont know how the entire team goes into a prolonged slump immediately after an 8 game winning streak but the phillies somehow did it

the only consistent thing about them in this era of mediocrity is that they will always revert to the mean. they will always be .500. a good stretch must be followed by a bad stretch. that is the rule.

the diamond backs have more home wins than the Phillies have road wins...should they have lost 2/3 instead of getting swept? probably....but it's not like it's surprising or inexcusable that they did
