he clearly is incapable for going 2 innings for some unexplainable reason.

i found it stranger that jc didnt go 2, which he routinely did last year and i believe at some point this year

I think they were holding JC out tonight. They had to use him because of the extras, but Mets announcers made it sound like he wasn't going to go tonight unless needed. So maybe he could only go one?

THE FLYIN HAWAIIAN!! HOLLA AT YA BOY DONHO

Awesome!  I was watching the updates on Baseball Tonight.  Loved seeing that freak smokin' around the bases.

This team is going to kill me sooner or later,

Coste didn't come into the game until the 8th inning and still tied his career high in hits with 4  :-D

The Mets didn't score in innings 5 through 13 but Pedro Martinez blames the comeback and loss on this damn bandbox...  :-D

It's also the 9th time the Mets lost a game they were leading in the 8th

Charlie told Brett not to swing...."see, you CAN follow orders!"

He also told him not to fake a suicide squeeze because Shane would be dumb enough to fall for it

They'll lose 2-0 tomorrow night and Reyes is the worst human on Earth.[/IGY]

IGY doesn't post in this thread when the Phillies are winning.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

QB Eagles

Burrell alone left ten on base during his golden sombrero night. Maybe more surprising, no one else in the game on either team had more than two strikeouts.

BigEd76

they're going to be shut down by Johan Santana?  way to go out on a limb there...

PoopyfaceMcGee

The Phillies could win 2-1 tonight.  They wouldn't even score 2 against Oliver Perez.

Wingspan

The Phils are 2-1 in games started by Santana this season.

He's shut them down for the most part but their bp blew it.

I can see the bums doing one of their retarded acts by hitting Santana well then getting shut down by the Mets sorry ass bp.

Yeah, I know. I was pointing out that him pitching is not an automatic win for them since the rest of their staff is so weak.
