theres going to be 6 national games xmas weekend (thurs, sat night, 3 sun, mon) and therefore just 10 games on sat afternoon. the league put the eagles here on purpose. itll be the 425 game and itll go to 90-100% of the country.
id anticipate the eagles home game vs dallas being a primetime game now
lions/vikings to start is an invitation for 2-0
there are a few games here confirmed elsewhere by legit reporters...seems like this baby might be true
1-2 of these sunday games should be snf. the houston thursday (aka the j super bowl) game is hysterical. what an awful game, terrible sign for that package if thats the quality theyre gonna get. al michaels is gonna be half in the bag for it.

lol at the giant graphic to report like 50 letters
That schedule looks easy as farg.
Has Cuzzo won on MNF yet?
this is not mine lol
i feel like the eagles lead the league in 3 game road swings
the last 7 games look the farg out. gb/ten blowup potential....giants stink as usual...bears and saints on pace to be terrible.
Thursday night is good for me. I'll take both Thursday and Friday off and I have access to great seats.
i think that thursday is when mlb is aiming for g 6/7 of the world series. look out j! potential conflict!
isnt thursday amazon game nite?

eagles have the third easiest schedule
the nfc East unsurprisingly has the four easiest
Dallas and Wash tied for easiest
Eagles
Giants

yup. i expected the games to be pretty bad but figured with it being Year 1 and with zealot al involved theyd throw them some bones...some of the games ive seen are rough
So for a bar to show the game they would have to have smart tvs

Oh man.
I'll need a suite then so I can have the Phils on

smart tv or have a roku/appletv. most bars, id guess, are not going to be prepared or care enough for this.
UPDATE - dal/gb games are SNF. eagles max out on primetimes games (5) and 4 are at home. rare to see that disparity but it does happen.
nothing pisses me off more than people who post the nfl schedule by week and not date...no one knows when week 9 is cork sucker
November 3rd
least desirable home game - saints. already seeing that for $75 and its only going down
best road trip - indy. would be chicago but its late in the year and likely to be frigid there. indy is cheap as hell, everything is in a 2 mile vicinity and theres nothing but corn bread white maga idiots to make fun of.
Indy could be the worst road trip in the nfl...off top of my head I can't think of one worse unless you've been to Green Bay already
also Chicago in -20 weather might be a top 3 "big" city in the country
1. easy to get to
2. all places you want to go in the same vicinity
3. cheap
does the city suck? of course. but do you want to go touristing or drink/watch the birds
nothing is easier to get to than Chicago with those airports.....Indy is literal middle American garbage...just stop
indy trip you can tie into a purdue/northwestern game
lets goooooooooooooooo
Chicago ——-> Notre dame
dec 18 buddy...maybe for a basketball game
I'm talking about Chicago vs Indy in general...and I don't know why
You'd WANT to be in -20 Chicago?
im exaggerating -20 but I do love it freezing cold especially for football but I'd take -20 Chicago over any temperature indy

yea you zoomed past my first point...of course chicago is the better trip except its late december there and frigid

some people wanna watch the world burn....others are crashing at j's in h town in october
You can come in October but game is in November.
And you'd all be welcome but Houston ain't no road trip city. It sucks.
I'd like to go to Indy just because it one of the few big-ish cities I've never been to before. Seems like an awful place and I hate being around white people but probably fun for a night or two for a basketball or football game. Quick in for a game and maybe a quick riverboat casino or klan rally and back out.
I wouldn't go to Houston if I had Jessica Alba there waiting naked for me.
Arizona sounds nice in October.

I'd go to Russia occupied Ukraine wearing gold and blue if Jessica Alba was there waiting for me naked.
They're more tolerant of our kind than Texans are these days.
phoenix is a fun city, I've spent a lot of time there the last two years. so farging hot though I don't know how people ever get used to it. I would uber 4 blocks from my hotel to the office every day.

its that time of year where inaccurate schedule information is posted. a few things about this
1) this was posted *before* the schedule was even confirmed. they finalized a schedule on monday
2) the royals have a home game the sunday of week 2 (the stadiums share a lot) and there is a beyonce concert on monday.
so it is impossible for the chiefs to host a game in week 2.
So Kelce's mom does not do the scheduling? VERY interesting.
Bookmarking this for when the schedule comes out and the Eagles play at Arrowhead in Week 2.
how could they possibly have a game on Sunday with a Beyonce concert on Monday?
Can't tell if that's sarcasm or not.
I know a stage union guy...construction of her set will require more time than the clock provides, I'm sure.
fun side note: Y'all have probably heard what prima donnas Van Halen were, and how their rider required a bowl of M&Ms of only certain color backstage? That wasn't because they were spoiled. It was inserted as a coal mine canary: if that wasn't right, they had proof positive that much more important details, like the pyrotechnics and scaffolding must be scrutinized. If it was correct, they still had to review it all--upside down drummers!!--but the initial signs were good that they were in professional hands.
I don't know if it was sarcasm. I had a few minutes to spare so just started typing.
I don't think the Eagles would play at Arrowhead Week 2 simply because a Super Bowl rematch is a probable Sunday Night johnson and the Chiefs will be coming off of another prime time game. Feel like the NFL will want to spread that out a bit more.
That said, the NFL is liable to do anything including scheduling for the same night as a Royals day game.

well the stage set up is one thing but they share a lot with the royals and 2 cant play at the same time
People in KC like Beyonce?
home of soul, jazz and the negro leagues museum, kiddo
Ah yes. Easy to forget since KS and MO have become MAGAville.
what we know about the schedule thus far
week 1 - road unless MNF
week 2 - no home TNF, but still likely a home game
week 3 - no home TNF, road unless MNF
week 4 - likely home
week 13 - 49ers (unconfirmed)
week 16 - giants (xmas)
week 18 - extremely likely wash
expect the 2nd cowboys in w14, 15 or 17. i would be shocked if the 2nd cowboys game was week 18, thereby making it potentially meaningless. the past 5 years theyve intentionally scheduled a late season dal/phi game thats between somewhere between w14-17

the opener is down to la, sea, tb, wsh. i would heavily lean wash here. can only imagine how many eagles fans will be at that one
Eh, Washington fans won their super bowl just by Snyder starting the process to sell the team. It might only be a 50/50 split in the crowd this year.

Bolded is an absolutely brutal stretch
ive talked about this on my nerd media discord, but the week 2 minnesota game is unlikely because the phils play at 4. theyre basically inviting a nightmare.
also tampa mnf is a complete zero. garbage game.
ive seen that schedule in enough other places and many of the games have been confirmed by legit reports so there it is
the KC game is a MNF but itll be an ABC exclusive. the tampa game is on another doubleheader week (espn/abc get 3 of these, 1 game on each) but id suspect the eagles will go earlier in the night on espn.
1 dallas game will be SNF. they should have 2 more..buffalo, miami, seattle, jets. 2 of those.
13-4
Back to the SB
im stunned by the double dip for the opener but i love it...ill be at both. phils at 4, birds at 8. 2 L's.
a ton of variables here, but eagles/seahawks is shining brightly as a flex candidate if the SNF or MNF games wind up stinking. backup 425 game behind cowboys/bills, fox wont care if it goes. its ripe for the picking if they need it. nobody will be happy about this, but dont say i didnt warn you.
the last few years the league has been giving cbs/fox 1 week where they have a national 425 game, meaning the late card only has 2 games. that isnt happening this year. every late card as 3 games minimum. rejoice.
abc/espn have 3 mnf DH's. they are doing timeslot tests with each. 1 week, abc is late and espn is early. its flipped the next week (this is the bucs games). late in the season, they air at the same time. prepare to be confused.
as for the eagles, im not fretting over their schedule. as of now, theyre 3+ point favs in 8 of the first 9. the next 5 is a tough stretch. the last 3 are easy again. theres 12+ wins here for sure.
Schedule Losers
While the defending NFC champs should be just fine this season, they have the most difficult strength of schedule — which they already knew, as their opponents had a collective .566 winning percentage in 2022 — and they'll run into a supercharged Gillette Stadium when Tom Brady is honored in Week 1. Tough opening quirk.
If they can't beat the Mac Jones led Patriots just cancel the whole farging season.
Man sports writers be struggling for things to write about.
I hope no one else famous will be on the sidelines.
Birds will have famous ex-pat coach Matt Patricia on the sidelines so there Mr. Kraft!
