Apparently there was audio that had Dak saying the word defer.

it doesnt matter what the words are the team that doesnt get the first kick gets it after the half..im not watching the game but wtf is going on...how does one team get both kicks

If you choose to kick in the first half, that means the other team gets to choose what they want in the 2nd half. You have to "defer" your choice to the second half if you want to be able to choose to receive the ball.
