next to roys royal farms has the best fffc in the world

last week in tampa i went to aguila sandwich shop.....media noche was overrated....cubano was unbelievable

also i thought it would be overrated in the same vein as crab fries but the grouper sandwich at frenchys is better than advertised....just amazing....the seven long islands were pretty good as well

i would never go to a steakhouse outside of a big city much less in a florida beach town

the columbia i would have liked to have tried for lunch on their deck (our hotel was right down there) but we just didnt have enough time....was there for just one night then one night in tampa for the flyers game

Bern's is a great freaking restaurant with a wine cellar that is second to none on the entire planet.  The food is spectacular and I feel sorry for anyone who refuses to try it because it's located west of I-95 and south of D.C.

My dad has been in the restaurant industry for going on 40 years. At dinner last night he told me Firehouse subs is decent for a chain sandwich. I tried it today...had the beef brisket with cheddar. It's decent. Not great but I'd eat there again in a pinch.

In Chicago, go to Kinzie Chophouse on the corner of Kinzie and Wells....some of the best steaks I've ever had.
