An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

The first dude they showed reminded me of Steve Buscemi only much, much creepier.  It's one thing if you want one just because you can't get laid but those dudes are farging insane for actually having "relationships" with them.  Still, better they go home to their sex dolls every day rather than prey on actual people.
