There's a brush fire near our house, can see all the smoke and some flames. About 2 miles away.

I am this close to driving over and throwing myself into the flames.

The best team in the season rarely wins the World Series. Thanks to these short series, even a clearly better team in the playoffs can be eliminated thanks to luck.

If the Phils lose, it's very disappointing, but hardly surprising.
