it's hard to take pitches when the opposing pitchers don't fear your bats and pound the zone with strikes

Was just thinking the same thing.  There isn't even a need to bait these guys with bad pitches, they can't even hit good ones.

it also helps when your pitcher has his A stuff and can throw it over the plate
