No chance. I have too much money on the Cardinals +1.5 for the Phils to actually win by one. Since I also have $$ on Cards team total o3, here are the most likely outcomes:

Cardinals win 1-0 or 2-0
Phils win by 2 or more and Cardinals score 2 or fewer

That's it... Take it to the bank.

in all honesty if the phillies lose and FF suffers a heart attack from it, its a good thing

Sorry friend. No heart attack. If you really want me to cry, the Phils could be up by one run with two outs and no one on in the bottom of the eighth, when one of the following hits a home run:

Polanco
Gload
Howard off a lefty
a pitcher

But I'd get over it while watching the team celebrate after Madson shuts the door in the 9th.

I have no doubts that Doc will pitch well tonight.  I am worried about the offense giving him the support he needs to get the win though.  Hopefully they've got a live chicken and plenty of rum to wake up the bats.
