July 25--ESPN commentator Lou Holtz is urging sanction-riddled Penn State to put the University of Hawaii on its football schedule to take some of the edge off a four-year ban on postseason play.

The trouble is, the NCAA likely wouldn't allow it.

Appearing on ESPN radio Monday, Holtz said if he were the head coach of the Nittany Lions he would tell players, " 'We aren't going to a bowl game but let me tell you what we're going to do, son. For the next four years the last game we're going to play is at Hawaii. And we're going to go there and you're going to have the time of your life. You are going to have an experience you won't forget.' "

I don't understand why more alumni/fans aren't more upset at the institution.

i think most normal alums are. not a surprise that we/they are also not the idiots who go yapping and bitching on facebook and any other kind of social media.

the players are the one group of people i can actually understand being pissed...however im not sure vocalizing it is the right way to go

Not the ones I've seen crying on TV. Majority of the alumni/students I've come across think they did JoePa wrong.
