Police Officers Association Condemns St. Louis Rams Players' Display

A spokesman for the police officers association, Jeff Roorda, made clear that the group would continue to speak up. In his statement, he said that "cops have first amendment rights, too, and we plan to exercise ours. I'd remind the N.F.L. and their players that it is not the violent thugs burning down buildings that buy their advertisers' products. It's cops and the good people of St. Louis and other N.F.L. towns that do. Somebody needs to throw a flag on this play. If it's not the N.F.L. and the Rams, then it'll be cops and their supporters."

That dude is a joke. He was fired for writing false reports.

Last night the STLPD people said the Rams apologized. Then the Rams COO said no he didn't. Then the STLPD tweeted a snarky response with the definition of an apology.

People like to toss around the freedom of speech thing and are wrong about it most of the time. However this time it is true - the cops are government and we have the freedom to speak up. Their job is to protect and administer the laws not threaten like some chumps.

I hope the DOJ takes over and gets him on federal charges

White collar wall st and corporations get off scot free when they rob and pillage the American public day in and day out. Cops get off for killing people.
