2. a missippi republican is proposing they take the confederate symbol off their flag off
3. a virginia republican wants to bring a bill that will phase out cponfederate liscence plates
4. in texas and tenn lawmakers are calling to take down confederate monuments
5. new orleans mayor mitch landreiu wants to do the same

absolutely amazing how fast this issue has moved....too bad it took 9 bodies to do it

Put 'em in a museum with other relics of history.  There's no reason to tolerate statues enshrining the "glory in defeat" of slaver generals in our public spaces, nevermind spend money to maintain them.  Get rid of them.
