i'm reaching the point of football pool overload, but if anyone is interested in this, let me know. been doing it a few years and it's the best run pool i've ever been in. last year i think there were 75 people and i'm sure will be more this year. pick every game, rank them 1-17 by confidence level. pays out weekly and yearly. also an optional death pool. and dude is on point with results and standing and whatnot.

Is it really that time again??  I think I hear the distant whine of the taterskins fan saying "It's all over already!"  Yup, it's really here.  The official pool is ready for its 20th year. (at least 20)  The rules will be the same as every year with the new "Death Pool"  making its return for a second year.  Here are the rules again:

1.      $34 to enter for the weekly and yearly pool.  $17 to enter just the weekly pool.

2.      $10 per entry for the sudden "Death Pool".  Enter as many as you like.

3.      Death Pool is a weekly pick where you choose a team to win once a year.  If the team you choose loses, you are out.  Year over.  No repeat picks.  You may only choose each team once a year.

4.      Death pool pot is kept separate and pays one winner in the end.  Barry Lape was last year's winner in Week 13.

5.      Regular pool is picking of the teams with each game ranked according to your confidence in that game.

6.      A weekly winner is paid each week (Usually around $70)

7.      Season overall winners are paid for 1st thru 3rd place.  1st =70%, 2nd = 20%, 3rd = 10%.

8.      Picks must be in by Noon of the first game day, which will be Thursdays.  Death pool is turned in at the same time.  No exceptions.  I can't chase 70 people around for their picks.  If you can't get them in on time, get them in early. (I'm making T-Shirts for that one)
