Taking Squaw to AC next week.  She's never been there before and I don't think I've been there in about 15 years.  Mid-week rates at the Tropicana ftw.  Do AC casinos give you free booze like Vegas does?  Last time I was there I'm pretty sure I didn't have to pay for my drinks when I was gambling, but I'm not sure.

Yeah drinks are free on the casino floor. The liquor drinks come in smaller cups of course, and it's hit or miss on how strong they'll be, so going with beer might be your best bet if you're looking to get a good buzz on. I actually drank myself sick the last time I was there on rum and cokes, and it wasn't the alcohol that did it...I was barely buzzed, but all the sugar from the soda messed me up bad.

Get over to Harrah's on the Jitney if you can, definitely my favorite casino. Just generally a nice looking place, not too trashy, not overflowing with bros, etc. They've added a bunch of restaurants over the last couple years too, but I haven't tried any of them yet. Trop is okay too though, I've gambled there once or twice and had a good time. I hear good things about Borgatta but it seems to be more of the party/club casino for the younger crowd. My poker playing friends say the tables there are just a bunch of young rich kids throwing around money and not playing real poker. If you guys are looking for a club, the Pool at Harrah's is pretty good, and I hear good things about Mur.mur and Dusk. But that's not really my scene.

I thought you were living out in the middle of no where in the west somewhere??

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

We're avoiding clubs while we're there.  Spending the day on the beach, walking the boardwalk, showing her all the Monopoly streets, etc, etc.  Gonna see if we can fit in a helicopter tour as well.  We probably won't even spend all that much time in the casino, but if we do, it's good to know we can drink for free.

We were.  Then we moved back to PA..........in September.

AC is one of the most depressing places I've ever seen.

I know there's nothing to see from a helicopter that we can't see from our room.  But Squaw want fly in metal bird.  I feel guilty about giving her people smallpox back in the day so I'm hoping this makes us Even Steven.

Munson

Ah, she'll get over the smallpox blankets...cause she's stronger than the stoooooorrrrrrrrrrrrm
