Has been splitting reps at 1st team C with Jackson. Apparently Howard Mudd really likes this kid.
Well what man wouldn't really like this kid? Just look at those tits.
Heard an interview with him on Saturday - sounded like a fairly smart dude.

Generally speaking, offensive linemen tend to be the smartest guys on the team.
Not only that, but just imagine all of the trivia questions he's going to able to answer during games against opposing d-linemen before each snap. That is where the games are won. They are not gonna know what hit'em! Go smart line-men! Yay!

Wait, we signed Peter Jackson to play center?
He's skinny now.
You think all white people look the same.
As does my wife.
Apparently he is pushing Jackson for the starting job. All of the beat guys are always saying that he is spending alot of time with the ones.
Good idea to give him as many reps as possible since Jackson has "fragile" stamped all over him now.
if this guy is the starting center then stamp the season fragile
I assume you've watched a lot of tape?
i know stuff
Maybe they have some more luck with Cincinnati.

Blackie is always better than Whitie. Until Jackson ruptures/breaks something this week.

you are thinking linebacker....offensive line can go either way
but i apologize if i dont have confidence in a 280 lb 6th round rookie offensive lineman...i saw the interior of the line get mauled enough last year

I won't allow them to use my name in a game that diverts children from actually going outside"@tfols1: @jkelce Where'd you go in madden 12!"
And nothing of value was lost.
What a comedian.
QuoteOne of my favorite players growing up was Manny Ramirez. He is so good even retirement cant stop him from getting hits.
Best Center in the NFL? (http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-network-playbook/0ap2000000297690/Playbook-Eagles-vs-Vikings) So says Baldy who is a huge Eagles homer. I don't agree but he's been great this season and is a perfect fit at C for Chip's offense.
6 year extension for $37.5M.
$13M guaranteed
That's a good deal.
4/5th's of the line is locked up for awhile...I think Herremann's is up next year right?

Geez, that's a baaad tattoo. His nose is deformed, off center of stache, and is that 3 nostrils? The brow over his nose is hacked like it was done in 30 seconds, his ears, besides being two different sizes, look like they came from a potato head box, and looks like a fever blister on his bottom lip, and the script looks like a 5 year old did it. Man, friggen' terrible.
Also he never said "farg em". He said "farg you" ("what my man Jay Ajayi just said") and "fargin" a bunch of times.
Yes he did, and his name is etched in Eagles history forever. I mean, all of us knew of him and how good he was, but now he's gone national, and if you need another reason to hate Skip Bayless, listen to his rant on Kelce and hear Shannon Sharpe call him out for it and the Cowboys/Jerrah'.
https://youtu.be/4qIzbpBYMy8
Bayless has a point though...Eagles need to change their identity from Underdog to Dynasty
I agree wholeheartedly but something tells me that's not the change he's thinking about.
Ha. Agreed. The only sounds I want to hear out of that icehole is his death rattle.

That would suck
Hopefully that's just a bargaining ploy for a new and well deserved contract. One of the few cases where it makes sense for the front office to give a small base and large signing bonus, which he'd have to pay back if he does retire.
They'd throw Seamalu in as the new center. That's horrifying

31....thanks for your service but buh bye
eagles have no money and whatever money they create should go towards either locking up younger guys or targeting younger quality FA's
He's a first team All Pro. Definitely cut those guys.
he wont be going forward....its denouement time

If it really comes down to him retiring or getting another couple million a year it's a no brainer. Unless you want to put a lot of resources into getting a younger high quality center. I mean look at all the yards Ezekiel Elliot is racking up behind Travis Frederick this year ... oh wait.

Torn elbow? That has to be excruciating. Throw in a busted knee and foot, good God.
First-team All Pro for the third year in a row.
Those are starting to look like HOF credentials. SB doesn't hurt either.

IMHO in the NFL no one other than the GM can really be trying to tank, and even the GM needs an explicit order from the owner.
If you're not the GM, and you go out there and give less than 100% as a player or coach, you might lose millions of dollars, or lose your job in the NFL entirely. Your job status and your future salary directly depend on your performance. You're not going to go out there and intentionally suck so the team can draft a better replacement for you next year. As a fan it makes sense to root for higher draft picks, but not for anyone who is a part of the continually losing team.
Even if you are the GM, you can definitely set up a team to fail but Kelce explains what the team would think of someone actively farging over the current roster of players.
The NBA is really the league for tanking. Yeah there's a lottery, but one superstar can completely overhaul your team. It's also a more top-heavy draft than the NFL and easier to predict who can adapt to the pro game.
The gentler way of tanking is when you leave a guy like Adam Gase in place all year even though you know you're moving on. No one's out there to lose, but Adam Gase trying as hard as he can is still likely to result in losses.
I enjoyed listening to Kelce there.
And agreed with QB. The NFL is the hardest to tank in. Too many moving parts. You can passively do it like you mentioned with leaving a bonehead like Gase at the helm. And even he has limits; like Gregg Williams calling a blitz in the Raiders game.
So, if I'm understanding it correctly

Fans: players can't quit in the nfl
Angry Fans: cut that guy cause he isn't giving 100%
also Jason Kelce is a farging moron
Restructured / not retiring.
howie really is actually trying to win a sb this year
I'll be the idealist and say Howie is actually desperate to hold on to his job and will be fired if the team doesn't improve.
But hey, he's putting in work. They went from 75 mil over the cap to 35.

Yeah we went to ATL two weeks ago and the flights were packed. Didn't have any anti masker shenanigans and my count of people in the two airports not masked up was only two.
Flying out of ATL felt like preCovid times. Nuts to butts packed on escalators and trams.
Same guy just donated $1,000 to chug a beer with Kelce.
Worth it.
They hoped for $20,000 in donations. They raised $50,000 and then Kelce matched it for an even $100K.
farging awesome.
not gonna hate on the guy and its great that hes doing something and not nothing but a 50k match seems kinda light for a guy whose made over 50 mil in his career and 9 mil this year
I think it's pretty generous when you consider he dumped a whole day of his time into it as well.
He's already downashore it aint that hard

Downeeshore they say in Balteemore.
Not sarcasm. His time he can't ever get back. Money is fungible. It would have been easier for him by far to just pay up 50k and wish them luck. Instead, he spent the day entertaining the hairless monkey masses, which must be a goddamn chore.

I didn't forget that part. That overall point is fine, but to start with "not to hate on the guy..." then to do just that was a nice touch to get there.
trust me that aint hate...its actually a compliment...but when people are in worship mode they get very clouded over what hate is and even the slightest perceivable criticism sets them off
I'm cool with giving him all the love in the world for the day of time and 50k donation.
I don't want him randomly donating more, I want 70% of his salary every year being taxed and being used to pay for healthcare and education.

He played fantastic.
If there?s ever been an athlete who gets Philly more than Kelce, it?s Allen Iverson, but this guy is the other side of that same coin.
Also: Still playing at an elite level.
