I don't see how that's even remotely odd.  I don't go out of my way to watch tennis, but if I see it on I'll usually watch.  I can see why people would love it and it might be one of the best sports to watch on tv.  Soccer is completely unwatchable on tv.  Maybe it's one of those things that's better enjoyed live, like hockey, racing, and strippers, but it's one of the most unwatchable things to ever be broadcast on television.

He hates the sport that is played by poor people in every slum on the planet and loves the sport that is played by people literally wearing only white as a rule.   IGY.  You've met him before and know who he is, right?

And soccer is great on television especially in bars watching it with other fans.

crazy that some people would like one sport but not another

i enjoy tennis but i by no means love it...really dont even watch it unless its a grand slam which i do love...my post was much more about the greatness of federer than it was touting the sport

and for the record i would 100% understand someone hating tennis as much as i dont understand someone loving soccer
