You left out he's a pain in the ass who has concussion issues and bitches about his contract every year. Look, I don't want them to trade him because they're not going to get fair value, but let's not act like he's some angel and that teams are beating the Eagles door down to get him. I think the 3rd thing was probably what was offered, first team to offer the Eagles a 2nd and he's gone.

Everyone has concussion issues in the NFL...when is the last time he had one?

The pain in the ass was covered by saying many great players are pains in the ass.

Do they wanna win? Then don't trade your best players because they are butt hurt about his attitude. Production trumps catching feelings because your top WR isn't a choir boy. He doesn't cause issues off the field.

And if it is Chip driving this bus then he needs his head checked.

Say what you want about Desean Jackson, there is not a WR in the NFL like him. He is a GAME changer & matchup nightmare

This is just the Eagles FO trying to steal attention away from the bums and the JRoll situation.  "Hey look, we got our own internal shtein going down too!"

In all seriousness, a third round pick for Pimp is sickening.  Maclin, Cooper, rookie?, Damaris Johnson, Jeff Maehl.  Wonderful.

For what it's worth (nothing), this still seems like it's all bullshtein to me and that he's probably not going anywhere until next year.

Wonder how many players the 49ers were planning to cut to fit Jackson under their salary cap. Pretty sure they gotta save some cash up to cake off Kap this season.

Pimp should stay an Eagle for life. Regardless of his tattoos, rap skills, or choice of porn actresses.

He already IS an Eagle for life.  Like it or not, this organization and this player have long term mutual interests.

teams that want to win at all costs find ways to fit in great players...teams that dont put 100% a priority on winning trade game changers for third round picks and cake off middling

yesterday Gargano said it sounds like it was agent driven.  he is pretty close with Howie so it makes sense that he would have a decent line into novacare

phillies will be under 500 this year...book it

rjs246

This is some infuriating shtein but I'm with IGY. If the team gets fair value for a player, anyone is tradable. Trading Jackson for a third round pick is farging stupid.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Zanshin

Jackson is essentially a less injury-prone Percy Harvin without the girly headaches. Harvin garnered a first. Anything less would be a waste of time even talking about. A third would just be stupid.

If they trade Jackson, I hope the Eagles brass is aboard the next missing Malaysian airliner.
