Actually, you posted that.  I never posted anything of the sort.  I also never posted that they would win the Cup or even win the Eastern Conference.  I posted that they would be contenders and only if the moves I initially suggested were made.

Biron had yet to wear his new face mask in game action. It's orange and black and has the Liberty Bell on the crown, the Art Museum and Rocky statue on the left side, and the Center City skyline on the right. The back has a pair of animal claws with the names Oscar and Emmy under them.

"I want to keep that to myself," Biron said when asked who Oscar and Emmy were.

Did he name his kids after awards?  I guess the next son will be named Tony... 


Another note: according to the Courier Post, the Flyers were going to bring LeClair back on the final weekend and let him play his final NHL game as a Flyer, but since he wants to play next year, they scrapped that idea.

Biron now then Kimmo Timonen and Daniel Briere during free agency and this team is an Eastern Conference contender again in 2007-2008.

Is the team really that far from contending for the East in your eyes?

The ridiculous circumstances that caused the Flyers to implode this year were a freak occurance, IGY.  If they add the right pieces to the puzzle, they could definitely rise to the level of conference contender next year.

I'm telling you, if the Flyers do it right with free agency, they're right back in the hunt next year. 

So adding the best defenseman and best forward(s) from free agency to this team won't turn them into a contender for the conference?

Nope - IGY's right.  The only chance they have is to sneak into the playoffs as a low seed at best.

Those guys never make the Finals (sarcasm).

They'd be as much of a contender as the 1995-2004 teams, which is what Rome said.  That doesn't mean they'd make the Finals...damn Lindros...

thank you easy...thats exactly what romey said...and its exactly what i said was insane...the flyers next year have absolutely no chance to go to...contend...get near...even dream about winning the eastern conference

the flyers in 95-04 almost always had a chance to go to the cup

said growing up he was an eagle fan and randall was his favorite player

became a bills fan in buffalo and loved takeo there...talked all about his injury and said that if hes healthy he will really help the birds...seemed like he really knew his football...and in fact said hes really into football and baseball
