I didn't see it personally, but someone from another board said he injured himself diving to try to draw a penalty.

Seabiscuit36

which makes it even better.  A high ankle sprain is gonna really hurt his game, his skating ablity will really be affected.  Couldnt have happened to a better IGY
"For all the civic slurs, for all the unsavory things said of the Philadelphia fans, also say this: They could teach loyalty to a dog. Their capacity for pain is without limit." -Bill Lyons

Rome

Bitchmade flag.  It's too bad he didn't break his neck going into the boards.

(Sindey fall down go boom around the 22 second mark.)

SunMo

didn't really look like a dive to me
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

SD_Eagle5

that wasn't a dive but farg him

Rome

PhillyGirl

Dive or no dive....Cindy is the biggest vagina in hockey.

Why is this even a question?

ice grillin you

my boy just emailed this to me....top ten nhl fights so far this year

10. Darcy Tucker (5'10, 178) Vs Jarko Ruutu (6'1, 200)

http://youtube.com/watch?v=uRiLdkOI-KA

Tale of the Tape: 2 super-pests go at it and manage to throw for quite sometime. Some decent toe to toe action here, edge goes to Ruutu who managed to cut Tucker and also get in better shots.

9. David Koci (6'6, 238) Vs Zdeno Chara (6'9, 255)

http://youtube.com/watch?v=C9TemTZlweo

Tale of the Tape: David Koci will fight anybody, anytime, anywhere. He ahd just got his nose broken by Wade Belak a week before this fight, but stilld ecided to go anyways and wound up taking a vicious right to his nose which, in effect, blew up on his face. Watch as Koci takes the shot and checks to make sure his nose is still on his face. Didn't drop though, gotta give him credit. Chara is amonster of a man.

8. Milan Lucic (6'4, 220) Vs Nick Tarnaski (6'2, 224)

http://youtube.com/watch?v=lB5jYQSWuak

Tale of the Tape: Lucic the young guy (born 1988) just pummels Tarnasky. Keep an eye on Lucic in the future, this guy can fight and can score. He hasn't had much offense this season, but I suspect he will be a late offensive bloomer once he gets more opportunities. He was great in the WHL.

7. Georges Laraque (6'3, 243) Vs Donald Brashear (6'3, 239)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lEoLPZPNtJo

Tale of the Tape: 2 monsters and fight veterans go at it, and it looks like Brashear is getting just straight brutalized until he finally gets a chance and drops Brashear. A great 'comeback' fight.

6. Eric Godard (6'4, 216) Vs DJ King (6'2, 228)

http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZAj2bmNguFA

Tale of the Tape: This is just a savage slug fest with 2 guys throwing as hard as they can with little defense. It's surprising that nobody got KO'ed.

5. Riley Cote (6'1, 210) Vs Aaron Asham (5'11, 205)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QmPFvH3jJZw&eurl=http://hockeyfights.com/fights/37779

Tale of the Tape: 2 light heavies go at it and just trade until finally Asham catches Cote with a nice right and it drops him. Gotta love Cote who just tries to throw every fight and make it entertaining.

4. Krys Barch (6'2, 220) Vs Brad May (6'1, 218) (2 Rounds)

Round 1
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Ypr03UZ72w&eurl=http://hockeyfights.com/fights/38312

Round 2
http://youtube.com/watch?v=IuoJSD6IhFg

Tale of the Tape: Another couple light heavies go here twice. The second fight is incredible with constant action. Watch n round 2 as they square off how Barch points out to May to watch out for the Glove as he might trip on it. 2 good guys.

3. David Koci (6'6, 238) Vs Derek Boogaard (6'7, 258) (2 Rounds)

Round 1
http://youtube.com/watch?v=qEZfWt_bmfs

Round 2
http://youtube.com/watch?v=oO67fAiNBYU

Tale of the Tape: Koci does not pick his spots as twice he takes on probably the most feared fighter in the NHL right now. All 6'7 258 pounds of Boogaard puts him at giant status along with Chara. 2 fights that go for quite a distance.

2. Brian McGrattan (6'4, 234) Vs Colton Orr (6'3, 222)

http://youtube.com/watch?v=_pUJTr31nLY

Tale of the Tape: Orr looks to get the better of McGrattan at the start of the fight but you see McGrattan begin to comeback and finally drop Orr. 2 huge guys that have some very hard right hands. Great fight.

1. Riley Cote (6'1, 210) Vs Shawn Thornton (6'2, 217)

http://youtube.com/watch?v=PJ8bZIj-HAE

Tale of the Tape: My favourite fight so far this season, shows 2 light heavies just throwing as hard and as fast as they can. Toe to toe action like this was a fight from back in the 70's/80's. Old school hockey right here.

Honourable Mentions:

Ed Jovanovski vs Aaron Voros

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ITL67A2YjHw

Mike Fisher Vs Matt Walker
(Watch for the headbutt by Walker at the end)

Riley Cote Vs Colton Orr

SunMo

Cote is always the smallest guy, except for Asham, but usually can hold his own
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Rome

I was just gonna say... Cote might get smacked around occasionally but he never backs down and always slings 'em regardless.

Tough farger right there.

I was just gonna say that you should all watch boxing if you want to see people fight. Or go to some random corner in West Baltimore. Both are better than two short white Canadians flailing at each other.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Just put on the damn dress, woman.

MDS

White people can't really do anything athletic, let alone fight. It sucks and is a waste of time.
