Title: Championship Sunday - 2023
Post by: PhillyPhreak54 on January 28, 2024, 02:11:37 PM
Go Lions - I really hope they can pull it off.

Ravens money is coming in hard. It'll be interesting to see how much Mahomes whines when the Ravens defense is carving him up.

Kelce again. He's on fire the last two weeks.

Only second opening drive TD allowed by Baltimore in the last 26.

Uh oh. Lamar is gonna have to respond quick

Post by: PhillyPhreak54 on January 28, 2024, 03:24:18 PM
Baltimore goes for it on 4th and 1 deep in KC territory and Lamar broke away. But he looked slow and didn't pull away. Normally you'd expect him to score.

And we are in a drone delay.

Some dipshtein flying one above the stadium

Huge Andy mistake on an awful ref spot (theme for this playoffs - just put a god damn chip in the ball already) by not challenging.

They go 4th and 1 and Baltimore stuffed Pachecho.

Total escape by the Ravens bc 21-7 would've been hard to overcome.

Well now that CBS shows a replay finally Kelce was short. So a good call.

But still put chips in the ball for fargs sake

Chiefs got Lamar in a blender in the pocket. They're knocking passes down, getting him off his spot and getting after him.

Ravens punt.

Ravens offense has been three Lamar plays and nothing else.

They better start running the ball

Dumbfarg Ravens have 30yards in personal fouls on this drive and KC is about to score

Had KC in 2nd and 12 and Van Noy head butted Kelce

Statistical ass whipping by KC but only up 10.

Baltimore needs to come out with a stop and go on a nice long drive after.

The look ahead line for KC/SF puts the Chiefs are 3pt dogs. I'd probably unload on them.

If it is KC/DET they'd be 3.5pt faves

Watched KC/Bal at the local bar.  The incel tears were delicious every time they showed Taylor.  And oh my god at the end when they showed her and Kelce hugging and kissing... brought the house down.

Anyway, go Lions.  14-0 so far and I hope they win by 50.

This should be devastating for the lions and they can spin the whole "Oh they're ahead of schedule they're playing with house money, etc" you have a 24–7 lead on the road in this environment and you give up 27 unanswered points aided by zesty execution, Good luck bouncing back

Two timeouts meant that had to get the OSK which is what a 6% chance?

Three timeouts means they don't have to do it

3 egregious mistakes today
1. harbaugh calling the timeout on the northside of the 2 minutes before 3rd down. if he eats the 15 seconds, KC pretty much has to run it. he didnt. they were freed up to use mahomes and he iced it. asinine.
2. campbell not kicking the tying fg. im fine with the first decision. this was inexplicable. you tie the game, then will get another crack to answer. there were like 9 minutes left. even if they score a td, fine. go get yours and go for 2. idiot.
3. using the timeout after the failed run. i sniffed out the run, so did my man who watches less football than i do. no wonder the 49ers were all over it. even if you eat 20 seconds there, fine. it still gives you a better shot. really, they just couldnt risk the run there. i like going for the td all in all - kicking the fg earlier really just sets you up for an end zone heave. needing just 3 gave them a real shot to tie.

monumental gag by detroit, one like the eagles i am not sure you can ever recover from

lets play it back. there was 41 seconds left after 3rd. if they dont call the TO, you can safely remove about 20-25 seconds while they scramble to do the new play. then of course they have to make it, which feels less likely in a fire drill but lets say they do.

so now theres 16 seconds left. the 49ers punt. now theres 5 seconds left, detroit has the ball at its own 10. not the ideal situation.

Speaking of Ms. Swift...watching the MAGAts, to include Cheeto Dick yesterday, meltdown over her is something else. Each day they go farther down the hole of insanity. My favorite might be that she's some government psy op to force people to vote for Biden.

The absurd comments you guys posted are actually things I've heard from people I know.

I was at a bar/restaurant on Monday night and heard a guy wearing a "farg BIDEN" ranting and raving saying similar bullshtein.

He was seated at a table and was saying this shtein out loud and loudly enough for anyone within 25 feet (including children) to hear clearly.

The insanity is real and it's both sinister as farg and scary to think where we are and where we're headed as a species.

Like all things terrible about the US, we can thank Reagan for the state of mental health care over the last 40 years.
