We've had a shtein ton of rain ourselves, and hadn't dried out from the deluge a few weeks ago.  We've got street flooding and water  creeping up people's yards.

This thing where is dips back into the gulf and reorganizes is a real threat now. NWS said we could see 22-38" more rain.

this isnt new orleans where it needs to be rebuilt...just let this shtein die and everyone move on to something else

New Orleans should have been rebuilt halfway to Baton Rouge. It's basically sitting on an eroding, sinking archipelago in the Gulf. When global warming gets really going, it will require trillion dollar Netherlands level dredging and environmental destruction to keep it from being Atlantis.
