Victorino has had a nice start to the season.  What's he hitting, .030?

It's weird that Pat Burrell always seems to be doing well when the team is losing and vice versa.

He changed his stance. His weight is shifted more to his back leg which has made his swing more level. His old stance was stiff as a board straight which would make his swing go everywhere.

Burrell...yard...2nd today. Holla.

Bums up 4-2

XM always carries the home team feed, so i am listening to the Reds announcers, and this guy calls the Phillies homeruns the same way he calls a pop foul to the catcher

why the hell is there a 1230 game on a monday?

why does cole hamels suck in the day?

The only theory I have heard that makes sense to me was that it is easier to see the rotation on his changeup in the daylight, so he tends to stay away from it during day games. So when his curve and fastball aren't dead on, he struggles.

If they don't get someone on base this inning, who wants to bet Manuel lets Cole start the 8th.... with hilarious results?

Right, they got someone on base, so crisis averted.

why would cole hamels pitching the 8th be a "crisis"?

He'd already thrown 90+ pitches, and it's the 2nd week of the season.

Tom Gordon's ERA is now under 17.
