Those are ducks, not Eagles.
They're a metaphor for the passes he throws after scrambling around for no real reason.
McLaurin Dotson and Samuel are no joke. Eagles have to get after Wentz.
Even if they don't, he'll try his best to do some sick spins around them.
75% eagles crowd, tons of momentum, possibly my presence and a detested former qb....what could possibly go wrong
Obviously we know Wentz can be forced into mistakes. So Gannon will have to dial it up and maybe he will do one of his patented left handed 720 spin INT on his own two yard line jawns
Their WRs are formidable.
Stay focused and knock these fools out. FedEx will be The Linc South again
man peep their sked...they have 2 high level qbs left on the sked, murray and covid foot
they really have it in front of them to be a 1 or 2 seed
I hope this isn't a jinx but I can't believe how healthy they have been since the opening of camp....that never happens...they really haven't had one serious injury and normally I feel like there's two starters out for the year by now
I ain't saying shtein as I'm still scarred from number five coming back to the linc and beating birds as a taterskin.

Well, they did lose It's Always Him so maybe the injury gods are satisfied for now
Rabble rabble, give me 50 coked up guys that are injured instead of these healthy princesses who didn't hit in training camp.

We get the Saints. The rest of the state gets the Eagles. But because houston is now an extension of New Orleans we always get them.
I'll be streaming.
There's a huge Eagles Fan club here but I don't feel like driving 35 minutes one way and spending a hundo.
Ask your governor why they didn't build a wall with Louisiana to keep out all those immigrants from Katrina.
Dumbshtein Rick Perry was Governor then. Bad but not as bad as Hot Wheels is.
Any time something bad happens here people blame Katrina refugees.
Dude could be born and raised here and people are like "them damn Katrina folks fargin it up for everyone"
I was really stoked for this revenge game. But now I'm just bummed, seeing Casey Toohill OUT with a concussion.
should smash them but I have a weird feeling the power of Jesus is going to lift wentz to a great game.
If the Eagles beat Washington twice in s season but lose every other game, i sleep like a baby
Hoping for a complete dismantling and some vintage "what in the Carson Wentz..." was that moments
With the lack of pass rush from the Eagles, Wentz will either have an okay game or be confused and try to juke out of a perfectly clean pocket for no reason.
Yeah I'm a little worried.
Hope for a blowout and Wentz to look awful
But it'll prob be a nail biter
27-23 Eagles
I don't get the line on this game. 6.5 at home is preposterously high for Washington.
Prob more overreaction to the MNF Vikes game
It opened Monday AM at 4 and went to 7 Tuesday AM
the new Eagles font is already growing on me. the hat that hurts was wearing, just green font on black, is pretty fire.
Have a really bad feeling about this game
The Commaskins chose to intro the defense
Prob bc 75% of the stands are filled with green and don't want Wentz to cry
The run gashes them, better let Wentz drop back so he doesn't feel bad.
These are the updates I need. Few and far between, and dour.
Here's another update. Wentz is getting his shtein pushed in with multiple sacks.
The Philadelphia Sack Party
I would like to see this game end 2-0, please.
That defensive series was beautiful. Wentz already looks shook.
Well that play was definitely farged up from the start.
Hurts is not having a good game. Wentz is having a worse game, but not by much.
Ugly offensive series. WRs not getting separation, Hurts not as accurate as last week.
Offense looks like shtein
Poor first down play call and blocking
Poor throw by Hurts
Almost picked
Punt
Slay missed last third down and was in the tent and is not back in the game
Jogging in the sidelines
What happened to MVP Hurts? Not like the WFT secondary was shutting anyone down before this.
Slay farged up his ankle last week and probably hasn't fully recovered from it.
I see wentz still doesn't;t know when to throw the ball. that's nice.
There was always a non-zero chance Wentz doesn't finish this game healthy, but he legitimately might not make it to halftime.
The Ginger's lack of pocket awareness is awesome
Surprised Wentz hasn't fumbled yet.
Holy shtein as predictable it is Hurts will throw an incompletion, every time Wentz drops back he's going down, this is beautiful
Maybe Kyle Gibson could play quarterback for Washington!
I think it's fair to say this offensive line isn't as good as it's supposed to be, and not very good at run blocking at all.
How is the crowd?
Are the Commies having trouble on offense?
Got away with one there cause he was juggling that ball
Don't think that was a catch, thanks for the screw up Ron.
DeVonta is a farging magician
Buuuuuut I don't think his feet got down

We've all seen some bad quarterbacking over the years on this board but my God so far this takes the cake. This reminds me of Troy Aikman, was it 91 when birds sacked him 11 times?
Wentz is openly trying to injure his way out of this game.
Refs letting them play today. I've seen maybe a dozen borderline flags in this game that they haven't elected to call.
There is literally no way for Washington to get back in this game with the ball in Wentz's hands.

Oh man that was bad.
Came away with no points but I really liked that drive. Think the coaches have adjusted well to the man coverage that was clogging the offense up early.
Attempting to crush their throats when you have your foot on their neck is worth more than three points at this point. The game is over, but the chance to really humiliate them can't be passed up.
Scary Terry was open, bad pass

Hurts really not special today, looks like the 2021 version. Still way better than what Wash has behind center.

Also the STs have been poor in all facets. Can't return, poor blocking, poor decisions, can't down the punts, poor punts etc
Yes special teams has been a big concern through first three games

Run the ball, geez
Talk about a team of consistency. Guess 0's in the second half is the new norm.
Wentz is in danger of breaking triple digit passing yards.
Holy shtein shocking the amount of dropped balls do eagles have seen this year
Good more chances to shut them out
Sloppy and/or lazy.
Classic Carson offense.
Wentz heroball mentality is contagious.
Pretty funny that Jordan Davis took points off the board for Washington.
I was not expecting them to actually make a stop.
Oooh....Jordan Davis stood them up on 4th and goal? Do tell!

Not liking the second half penalties, either.

Schlereth is unlistenable. OK we get it you're the biggest Washington apologist there is. Excuse after excuse after excuse.
Nice to see there's still some life left in this offense.
Nice win.
Still have things to tighten up on.

I guess that cards-colts-packers stretch is as hard as it gets.

Can't remember a more likeable Eagle ever than BG. Hope he retires an Eagle then coaches or something
AJ Brown is the alpha...Devonta Smith: hold my beer.
Hated the offensive play calling today. Birds won because of talent
Gannon with a great game. Applied pressure early. Skins were forced to change their game plan. Played standard d rest of the way.
O line is just toying with the defense
Wentz is who we thought he was
3-0
Good win. I have the impression that if these dipshteins ever really figure it out they'll be completely unstoppable. They are pretty damn impressive in spurts, I'll give them that much.

Top 10 sure. Week 2 was his strongest game by far though. Got it done today (and Week 1) but there were more errors. Need to see him able to have success versus better competition or in a comeback scenario.
I would like to see a second half performance by the offense at some point this season.
i know they put up a bunch of yards but hurts was really mediocre here. they put together basically one td drive (the other two were aided by a smith incompletion ruled catch and a turnover). he and nick/shane were bailed out by devonta and aj brown being really god damn good. hurts is much better than i thought he could be but lets remember what he is. he still hasnt put a complete game together.
the 4th and 1 jet sweep to zach pascal was utter insanity -- 3 pro bowl skill guys and an athletic qb and you give it to him?
but really did they didnt have to do anything because carson was such a disaster. how much fun was it watching this and laughing at him instead of yelling? dude held onto the ball forever, missing guys all over the place, fumble here and fumble there. he gifted the eagles half their sacks just by refusing to give up on a play. he sucked big time.

That and they've never been big on integration.
If Hurts plays as well as he did Week 1 and Week 3 they will win a lot of games. If he plays as well as he did Week 2 they will win all the games.
Mediocre is an underselling of what he did today. 340 yards, no turnovers isn't mediocre. But the decision making and especially the accuracy were nowhere near as sharp as last week.
On the coaching side, the play calling was confusing at times but the overall adjustments throughout the game were impressive. I thought the Wash defense showed up with a solid game plan and effectively shut down the run game and were winning man matchups early. Steichen/Sirianni had the thing unlocked by the second quarter. Shades of last year with struggles in the red zone though. Gannon's guys were tackling and seemed to know exactly where the ball was going more often than not.
I'm not going to fret over the scoreless second halves. They have been garbage time.
Outside of Elliot, special teams looks weak. Seems inevitable that it will cost a game eventually.
The best thing about the Eagles is their roster. Respect to Howie.
ST have been their glaring weakness. Unlike 10 years ago when I knew every useless position coach I had to look up their ST coordinator. Guys name is Mike Clay. Britain Covey is a less competent Reno Mahe. I'd rather have a 3rd string position player who can also return punts but they want kr as a specified singular role.
In regards to Hurts: one of my biggest issues with him was the underthrows. It's obvious he worked hard to address that issue as he's now leading his receivers. The sideline throw to Smith was pretty amazing...sure it registered as a catch and probably gets overturned but boohoo Ron didn't get his flag out in time and the throw was the only place he could have put it for Smith to have a chance.
Another big concern was watching Browns highlights he just excels at the slant. Hurts couldn't throw a slant to save his life last season . He obviously worked hard with Brown in the offseason because he's throwing it into quadruple coverage. Brown is a master of finding space on slants. Great chemistry there.
Hurts only threw one int this season and most of us would agree it was 100% on Gainwell (not sure why he's still on the team).
All this and the jags will probably crush him next week
