I have some random stone temple pilots concert from 2010 on tv in the background today and just remembering how farging good they were.  60 minutes of great songs straight, not a single stinker.

Saw them live 3 or 4 times with Weiland they always killed it...even when he was obviously wacked out of his mind. Watched them once with the Linkin Park guy who killed himself and they were terrible. After he died I saw them with their new front man. First few songs were ok then it was back to terrible. Some voices define their music and unless you can find a similar vocalist they just don't work. Weiland/stp can't be replaced.

I gave this a fair listen, but I can't say it's my cup of tea. I'm not sure what the song means, but allowing for some artistic license I'd day it is a song about beets. But I don't really know.
