I made the mistake of getting a tuna sub from them yesterday then got into a beef with a PR flunky who runs their FB site after posting a picture of it.

I assume both.  The funny thing is I didn't actually kill it.  I just posted the picture and asked them if it looked acceptable.  I told them it wasn't and wouldn't be back.

I wouldn't have made a big deal out of it if they hadn't deleted the post.

Honestly can't stand Jimmy Johns.  Bland, tasteless, just not good sandwiches.

To me it's worse than Subway, and I can't stand them, either.

I dislike subway. It was ok about ten years ago but it's shtein now.

Jimmy Johns is ok around here. We have them brought into the office. Jason's Deli is better.

But I'll never eat a tuna salad (or chicken/egg salad) sandwich anywhere but from my kitchen. I don't trust it to be fresh.

I ate at Jimmy Johns once, in Duluth, Minnesota. I can't say whether it was Jimmy Johns in general or just that location, but it was the worst sub I've ever had. Some of the gross shtein at Subway has left me feeling sick and it was still better than the glorified bologna sandwich at JJ's.

And I'm not one of those guys who thinks that the only good food comes from a mom and pop, or that the only edible hoagies ever made are from the 215 area code. Best chain sub I've had is DiBella's, based out of Rochester.

I used to get the roasted chicken sub at subway and that has turned into the most bland piece of "meat" ever. Had one a couple months ago and took two bites and that was it. Plus all the veggies looked awful in the store.
