NYG - Feeling "No Pain" And Will Start

Summary:  ESPN's Sal Paolantonio reporting live from the Meadowlands told viewers this morning that Manning was throwing the ball with "plenty of zip and plenty of accuracy." He said he was feeling "absolutely no pain." Manning will reportedly wear a small amount of padding on the sore spot on his shoulder but seemed good to go. However, you always have to consider the "re-injury" factor on players like this. Manning could potentially be susceptible to trouble with the shoulder if he were to take a hard hit. So you have to weigh that out. But it looks like he's made a strong recovery and is feeling good right now.

"The very existence of flamethrowers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.""  R.I.P George.

Cortisone is funny that way
"For all the civic slurs, for all the unsavory things said of the Philadelphia fans, also say this: They could teach loyalty to a dog. Their capacity for pain is without limit." -Bill Lyons

They just showed the video confiscated by the NFL.  Basically it was focused the whole time on the Defensive coach making his signals, then focusing on the game clock to sync the time and plays

4 football games, phils/mets, emmy awards, i like sundays.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Robbie Gould just nailed a 47-yarder.  The holder?  Dirk Johnson.

Adrian Clarke just recovered a Thomas Jones fumble.

Yes, that Adrien Clarke.

And the re-try doinked off the left upright.

Denver wins with 5:23 left in OT.  Elam with the FG.

#12
farging Pats are dismantling the Chargers. Dear God I hate them.

Norv Turner, and his QB, look completely confused by the defense.

So which one was it?  Adrian or Adrien?

Is it too early in the season to say that Herm Edwards has officially killed the Chiefs? They look so anemic out there that I kinda feel bad that they have to go out and play 14 more embarrassing games.
