And I am pissed as hell at this team. They repeatedly said how they have to start fast and blah, blah, blah but when it comes down to it not a one of those fools will choke up on the bat with 2 strikes or with RISP and just put the ball into play. It always has to bee a big hack trying to drive the ball. That is what drives me crazy the most. That and the fact that Gillick, me, you, every Phils fan in the DelVal and several corpses knew the bullpen was a weakness and they did nothing to address it.

Hell, they even let Rick White walk away and he is, at least the last I checked, throwing well for Houston. If you have a stacked BP you let a Rick White walk. When you have the Phils BP you keep every Tom Dick and Harry in town and keep the best of who you got. White would be the set-up man here now by default. Now he's collecting stiffs like Rosario and Rick Bauer.

It's not a playoff team. They weren't a playoff team last year, and they really didn't do anything to make themselves better this offseason, so there was no reason to believe this season would be any different.
