He's not against scalpers.  He's only against the Eagles selling to scalpers.

Didn't the Eagles sell you tickets which you then scalped?  So in essence, you're mad at the Eagles for selling you, a scalper, tickets you then made a profit on.

Yeah, you're not bipolar or psychotic.  Not at all.

I really am all that riled up.  It all started a few years ago when the girl who delivers my mail said she really wanted to go to a game but the prices were absurd.  As I started to look into the issue more and more things started happening.

I have already been in contact with Arlen Spector, the Gov and a few members of city council.

WHY?Huh?  You may ask.  Cause I love going to games and think that fathers and sons should be able to get tickets from the Eagles at face.  Because I find it disgusting that the Eagles would spit in the faces of all the people on the wait list and still deal rows of tickets to scalpers.

That's why.  Joe Banner was actually insulted when he was asked about it, like the Eagles have to god given right to screw the fans whenever they can.

More power to you... you nutty farg.  Grin

I'm one of those poor schlubs that's got to beg, borrow & steal to find reasonable single game tickets until the time I can hide enough money from my wife to buy PSLs.  Wink So, if you can uncover the Eagles scam to keep tickets from the "average joes", fight on my bipolar friend, though you may want to change your approach.

I'm just saying that not much is different from the way that it always was (not that it is good), just that the internet has made it more visible.

In regards to the SRO seats, why do you assume that I believe the Eagles are innocent? You seem like an intelligent guy, why don't you investigate who they actually belong to & e-mail them as to why they have them available so soon? Assumptions such as your's would work on WIP, but wouldn't fly in court.

As far as your comments about your posts being "kept up top", a homeless guy farging an old diaper will draw a crowd, but it doesn't make diaper-farging an art form.

That was Beermonkey's post I was referring to, sport.

Please keep in mind that you're on a short leash here. I suggest that you try and keep your composure, or find someplace else to rouse the rabble.
"I'm sure he'll uncover it by spewing on message boards."

I thought this reference by you was in reference to me, if it wasn't then since it was directly under a quote which included a screwed up version of my old username, then I totally misread it.

I find it interesting that all of the attacks on me and the absolutely uncalled for comments, didn't receive the "short leash" comment.  It would seem thru all of the attacks I am one of the few people who keeps their composure.

You would think the clown with the "die in a car crash" comment would be on a short leash.  Some really serious rabble rousing there to clean up.

Sport, huh?  I like it.

Hell, you should see what people say when they don't actually like you.

Dude, I am running circles around you in logic here.  Stop, besides the name calling you have got nothing.  I'm actually embarrassed for you.

I like how you slip all of those shots in there while kind of complementing me.  Kudos to you.

SRO tickets showing up months before they go on sale is solely a sign of guilt in public opinion.  This will never go to court.  But enough people on the radio and on TV (say a spot on ESPN....hint, hint) and the Eagles just might change they ways.

Glen Mac was very interested in the topic last summer and I am sure he will be in this stuff too.

I will be calling Leo C tomorrow and asking him how tickets that haven't been put on sale are for sale on their Partner's site, at a number 5 times the number people were able to get last year.  Simple stuff.

1. You bought tickets for the sole reason to resell for a profit.

2. You're angry at the Eagles for selling to scalpers.  You're a scalper.

I tried to let that other clown slide but since my last post was on Monday afternoon and I was in central PA Monday  night, Tuesday and today on site.  It would have been impossible for me to of posted yesterday.  He must be doing some heavy shrooms and the MonkeyDude shared them.

A ton, but without rewriting all of the other posts pointing out the entire rows and the SROs on sale already.  If you don't get it by now you never will.  Its a damn shame.  Now go away, Jerome.

Please let us know how that call goes then, but you may want to check with the seller, and not Leo Carlin, as to the source of the tickets first. Once you identify the source, it would make your investigation & questioning of the ticket office more insightful & more likely to be taken seriously.

Don't assume that we don't want the truth.

From Wikipedia...

Quote
Cognitive dissonance is a psychological term which describes the uncomfortable tension that comes from holding two conflicting thoughts at the same time, or from engaging in behavior that conflicts with one's beliefs. More precisely, it is the perception of incompatibility between two cognitions, where "cognition" is defined as any element of knowledge, including attitude, emotion, belief, or behavior. The theory of cognitive dissonance states that contradicting cognitions serve as a driving force that compels the mind to acquire or invent new thoughts or beliefs, or to modify existing beliefs, so as to reduce the amount of dissonance (conflict) between cognitions. Experiments have attempted to quantify this hypothetical drive. Some of these examined how beliefs often change to match behavior when beliefs and behavior are in conflict.

You also seem to be the single common element in all the annoying arguments. Not just here, either. I've seen your act here before, as well as on other message boards, and your act is getting tired. We get your points, and we may even agree with you on some of them...but I just suggest you let the facts stand for themselves and try to do a little less arguing. And maybe take yourself a little less seriously, as well.

Anyway, back on point, I'm curious about Jerome's assertion that you are making a profit from selling tickets. Are these tickets you wouldn't otherwise use yourself? Did you get them with the intention of reselling them for a profit?
