According to NC, Buckhalter won't practice until training camp and there's no interest in adding a big RB, but apparently they're really committed to having a running game this year...

committed to a running game with a guy and hasnt played in 3 years and 2 guys that cant run inbetween the tackles? dy-no-mite.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

The BIGSTUD

Moats can run in between the tackles, and to the outside. I really like Moats.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

hes still too small to be a goal line/short yardage guy. buck i guess can do that, but for the love of god we all know hes gonna tear another acl before the 2nd preseason game.

Perry is goal line short yardage guy, or Buck will be if his knees can last.

So 3rd and short we go with either the QB sneak, a deep route, or a 5 yard pass to the TE.

People down here in the Carolinas close to the Panthers think Davis is all but officially retired.

Don't you think the goal line/short yardage situation may have improved more with the drafting of guys like Gilles & Justice than with any RB? Put my mom behind Max Jean Gilles and she will probably pick up 2 or 3 yards...

andy all but said this yesterday...he even dropped perrys name over going out and gettting another rb

i think its becoming more and more clear that what wr and rb are now is what they will be in training camp

Well, the line couldn't block anyone consistently last year.  Maybe Thomas getting healthy, all these draft picks and the emergence of Herremans as a quality player will make the midget backfield and the mediocre WR's look like gold.

I guess.

Still, Davis is DONE.  No Davis.

i cant even get mad anymore...it is what it is and theres no point in worrying about it any longer...the wr's blow and the invevitable westbrook injury is gonna kill them
