I have 21,000+ Starwood points. Anyone else a Starwood member? Any suggestions on how I should use these puppies?
starwood merged with total rewards this week, which is all of the harrahs family. i imagine 21,000 points would equal many casino comps.
Damn. I'm a starwood member, but my point total is meager (I don't stay at starwoods often, and my double dip is with airline miles with their hotels) so I'm still forced to stay at the Hilton when I do my Las Vegas trip this Nov.
Was out in Estes Park, CO stayed at Lake Shore Lodge. The management at the lodge were some of the biggest arseholes on the planet. That being said I was there for a wedding and it may have been the most fun I ever had.
Bunch of my buddies that I grew up with were there. We went and did a roady through the Rocky Mountain National Park. Drank our asses off and smoked some of the fine CO dope. If you have never been to the rocky mountains and like the outdoors you really are missing out....pictures do it no justice.
Saw countless elk with monster racks and saw two giant moose. Overall just an amazing experience.
I love RMNP, big reason I moved out there. Other than trail ridge road, what did you do\see? The Alluvial fan is pretty cool, especially when you take into account when the dam burst and created it, it caused a 6' high flash flood in Estes.
As for the nature, you are guaranteed to see wildlife during the summer months. A last year, we were camping out there, and a dozen or so deer decided to take a shortcut through our campsite. Was pretty crazy sitting there by the camp fire and have a small herd walk past you about 40 feet away.
RMNP is really cool. I've been trying to get paco to try it for years.
Maybe if you visit when my 13 year old used Nissan isn't in the shop, I would have gone with you guys.
