Title: Around the NFL - Week 6
Post by: SunMo on October 14, 2007, 11:38:18 AM
Vinny farging Testaverde is going to start for Carolina today because David Carr's back stiffened up on the team flight.

I can't believe Testaverde was the best Carolina could do once Delhomme went down.

Devin Hester had another punt return TD..

He's only been in the league a couple years but I think it's already safe to say that he's the best kick returner of all-time.

QuoteMiami Dolphins quarterback Trent Green will soon make a decision on whether he will retire after he undergoes more medical testing after suffering a concussion against the Houston Texans, a source told ESPN's Chris Mortensen.

Good for him, it's time to get out before his brain turns to mush.

Larry Johnson ran for his first TD of the year, he's got 83 yards early against the zesty Bengals defense.

Apparently he didn't die, since he has two TD runs of over 65 yards each.

The Packers just took the lead over the KKK when Charles Woodson returned a Santana Moss fumble 58 yards for a TD.

Another record-breaking game for Brett Favre, as he is now the most intercepted quarterback in NFL history.

Well, Dallas is finding out just how good they really are.

Think the Patsies can break 60 against the Eagles?

Give it to Dallas - they've come back to take the lead.

Romo's been stellar on that drive.

Wow....Marion Barber was dead to rights in the endzone after getting knocked back about 5 yards and ran about 25 yards to not only get out of the endzone but actually pick up a few yards.

Moss with a ridiculous catch, its being reviewed but he's a freak of nature

The catch will be over turned....it came out when he rolled over on his back.  But even if that's the case, NE is going to get 15 yards on the personal foul that was called.

I had Manning on one of my fantasy squads that year and I've got Brady on my keeper league team this year.

And then the Patsies show my they very well may go undefeated.  They seem to be able to turn it on at will.

Coming into this week, I thought that the NFC South was the worst division in the NFL, but the Seahawks are making a very strong case for the NFC West tonight.

That must have went well.

I had Braylon and LT to help stave off Peterson's day.

I was shocked to see that the Panthers, a terrible team by most accounts, are 4-2. Then I checked and saw that the teams they beat have a combined record of 5-17 (2-14 not counting the third-string QB Cards they beat today).

Holy shtein, that would be a kickass roster for this week.  Each player scored about 45 points each.  Plus whatever production from everyone else.

183.94 points he put up on me in a standard scoring league. I feel violated.

The scary thing with the Pats is this is the first year they got Brady some good wide receivers. Look what hes doing. No doubt in my mind they will win the super bowl. Undefeated? They will manage to lose to the Dolphins. They always do

The Dolphins won't come within 25 points of the Patriots.

As much as I'd love to call you an idiot for saying that... I'd be an idiot to try to argue otherwise at this point.
