I'll be there, but I'll be exactly one week late.
I'll be there. I'll need chaperones to keep me out of trouble at the game though.
who's got an extra for me? i can't miss the skins game.
Anyone know what time they open the gates at Linc? Trying to figure out when a good time to get in and claim a spot for standing room tickets. Any suggestions?

Go get in line right now. Purchase 2 tickets. I'll meet you at the gate after the tailgate.
Ill be there...probably wishing I wasnt at around 4PM.
you guys are just chock full of info ::)
We don't exactly have a wealth of experience when it comes to waiting at the gates for SRO tickets. You're in relatively uncharted territory, my friend.
or going in anytime close to when the gates open
i rarely ever leave to go in before 1245
lol...I know.
We like to watch the warm-ups...and it gives us a chance to enjoy the place a while before the a-holes show up.

No shtein. I just figured being season ticket holders you might be aware of when they open. I by no means want to go in early. Believe me, last Eagles game I went to, I have no recollection of going in at all, so I like to take my time. I guess I'll just make a trip up to the gates at somepoint and see if I can't axe somebody. Whos' bringing the weeds!!?!?!??

Lucky for him I just got my digital camera fixed.
Expect to see a whole lot of pictures of my hanging brain.
So I've been hanging around this place for about 6 years now and finally got a chance to go to one of the legendary :CF tailgates. What time you guys showing up?
Early. I'm planning on being there round 8-8:30 hopefully. Last yr (Chargers) I got down there around 8 and Sus was just setting up. Still spaces in that area also.
I'll probably be there around 9:30-10, is that too late to get a good spot?
they are calling for a monsoon now which will make parking easier but 10 would still be pushing it

Apparently getting a cell phone number or actually getting there more than an hour before game time is too much. :P
Ummm....sorry? I'll try and grace your tailgate with my prescense next time.

theres a bridge on 95 between the delaware house and the toll booth that they are repairing...because of that 95 goes down to two lanes in both directions creating traffic hell
yup i stopped at that gas station right in the middle of it to fill up and get a drink...it took over and hour to get out of the parking lot and back on the road.

I make it a habit to take 95 south, then go on the blue route all the way up to 76. Everything else being equal, it's a little farther, but when the Sure-kill is clogged, there's no beating 476.

The sour mix is the big diluter in that drink. The Coke is just for color, so it's not going to change the strength of the drink much.

yeah, that's the way i come down (476, blue route, 95 north)
but whenever i leave, the lines going to 95 are so long, that i think it's faster just to go to the 76 on-ramp

But seriously...the trick for me: Go out past porta-potty row, and onto Broad Street, and don't worry about immediately getting over to the left (for the U-turn to go toward 95). What most people don't realize is that 3 lanes can turn left at that U-turn light, and most people try and jam into the left-most 2 lanes. Just buzz past them, make the U-ey, and then cut 'em all off once you're going back the other direction.
I frequently make it from my parking space to I-95 in 10 minutes.

Heading up last night, we encountered almost no issues. The only construction that slowed us down at all was the Fort McHenry tunnel in B-more. Apparently, the Harbor Tunnel, which we usually take, had one lane traffic, so it might have been even worse.
However, there were road work signs and those lane-closure devices all along the shoulders in many areas in northern MD and DE, so it looks like they could assfarg the road at any given time.
Oh, and I stopped at the Laurel, MD exit and pounded a 40. No, not really.
so 95 no longer goes down to two lanes in delaware...or it does but it didnt create a back up which if the case means you must have come up super late
starting gate liquors...laurel md....40's and hookers...act like ya know

so 95 no longer goes down to two lanes in delaware...or it does but it didnt create a back up which if the case means you must have come up super late
starting gate liquors...laurel md....40's and hookers...act like ya know
There was a VERY brief area it went down to 2 lanes, but there was no backup (around 10pm), but it looked like there were other areas they could/would close down at any time.
Word life.
youre lucky because that very brief area backs up 95 for like 5-10 miles during normal and busy traffic times
Well, it's not all luck. I make it a point to make the trip during times of day/week when there is less congestion in general... hell, I got all the way around the beltway with not as much as a slowdown.
so do any of you donkeys actually have tickets yet?
oops, i meant to the game at FedEx.
I found some tickets but I'm reluctant to buy them so I'm so tight on budget right now. :deion
yeah my boss at my old job had field seats right behind the visitors bench that he used to give away. i think i'm just gonna go down and scalp them this year.
me and clint got ours
If by Clint you mean Sarge, then well done I say.
