amazing what can happen in a month

they look like the clear front-runner to me in the NFC now. they are top 5 in the NFL in almost every statistical category (rushing, passing, defense).

theres def no clear anything in the nfc...as for the giants they certainly look impressive right now but i wanna see eli throw the ball in the northeast november and december winds before i believe in them

I hear what youre saying based off years past, but this can be said for any qb in Nov and Dec no? I mean.. it not like he has this pansy arm where he cant get the ball down field.

it seems as though they have a much more functional offense with the intermediate and underneath routes this year. Not to mention with the huge improvements of nicks and manningham to get open where they dont have to take all these long shots down the field for 3rd and long situations for the wind to be a big factor..but we'll see.

The Giants beat three shtein teams (Carolina, Detroit, Dallas without Romo), one shtein team masquerading as a mediocre team (Bears), and one mediocre team (Texans). They got crushed by the Titans and Colts.

Don't really see how they are any different than the Eagles or any other mediocre NFC team.

I'm not going off the teams they beat or lost to in the beginning of the season because teams start really hitting their stride at just about this time.

Eli Manning just seems like a different qb to me running this offense. You can almost see him emulating his brother at the line of scrimmage, calling out more reads, etc. and really controlling the flow of the offense. Their pass d seems much stronger, power running game is on point and we know what the d-line can do. Unless last nights game was a fluke, I actually see a big difference from the Eagles right now.

they are better than the eagles but certainly not by a lot....i reserve the right to change my opinion when the giants blow them out

That was prior to them playing Andrews more frequently. The biggest mistake of the Reid/Banner years might be giving up on Andrews at EXACTLY the wrong time.
