I believe I defended him too. Bottom line is they should have kept him.

Shut up your face hole.

They'd still have Trotter if you were in charge.

You realize he's only played in 50 games in 6 years right? And 2 games since 07?

What I meant to say as not only would they keep him, he'd be a player/coach!

As far as Andrews goes, it's not like they're bursting at the seams with talent, as ivy pointed out, so what's the harm in keeping him? Just had to have Greg isdander and zipp Duncan on the roster, right?.

And 3 years from now when Zipp Duncan is being signed to clevelands practice squad you'll be lamenting him not being on the eagles anymore.

Shouldnt we wait till andrews proves it was a mistake to let him go before the complaining starts ?

I can understand the argument that he might have been worth keeping given the talent currently on staff, but that argument gives too little weight to the fact that a big man with back problems who is sometimes too depressed to work, and who has not in fact worked much at all in two years, is a liability, not an asset.

It was not a mistake to release him, and will not become one should he suddenly return to form for the Giants.  He was obviously never going to come back for the Eagles, for whatever reason, so good riddance.   Good for him if the kooky bastich finds his football again, but I don't see it happening.  He's too mentally soft/unstable and HES A FAT GUY WITH BACK PROBLEMS.
