I remember Dickie Thon got beaned in the eye by Doc Gooden when I was real young. I also remember laughing at the name \"Dickie\".  :-D

I think it was Mike Torres who got him...

Im pretty sure it was Gooden. I remember watching it on one of my old school Mets VHS\'s.

Unless he got hit on the eye more than once  :paranoid
Thon got hit way before Godden came up.
Alert, alert. Look well at the rainbow. The fish will be running very soon.

*Trivia question. What MLB record did The Master set?
"The very existence of flamethrowers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.""  R.I.P George.

Actually, Thon got hit on April 8, 1984- the day after Gooden made his major league debut.

It was Mike Torrez, though.
