if that were my name the mat would read either "Wentz" or, "the Wentz Family."

yeah i guess the door mat example is not a good one

say for example you wanted to write "carson wentz knee is hurt"....how would you write wentz in that case...youd still just go wentz?

cause you wouldnt say tom brady knee is hurt oud say tom brady's knee is hurt
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

Diomedes

I think "Wentz's" would be correct in that case because it's the possessive tense.

As for the welcome mat, I think it would be just "The Wentzs," much like it would say "The Bradys."

His doormat would (and probably does) read AO1 you farging mongoloids.

QB Eagles

It's "es" after "z" names, even though it looks kinda horrible (Hernandezes, Schultzes, etc.). Similar to the Joneses.

Singular = Wentz.
Singular Possessive = Carson Wentz's knee exploded.
Plural = The Wentzes are all praying for Carson.
Plural Possessive = This is the Wentzes' house.
Doormat = The Wentzes.

I think I got that right.

@cj_wentz
Much love for the people of Haiti! They've been thru so much but it was incredible to see so much hope in them—even tho they've been stricken by so many natural disasters. Such a resilient nation & a place I'm passionate about. Definitely changed @jmattjmattjmatt and I forever!
