I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Haha, is that a reason to finally watch Versus?
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

theyve played 3 games in the stanley cup finals and no one cares at all. this sport is dead. its a shame.

Don Cherry and Bret Hull were awsome last night, they called out the NHL, the officials, Bettman, players.  Just great

NBC on Saturday night drew a pathetic 1.5 overnight rating.  That means about 1.1 million households in the United States of America, population about 301 million, watched the game. NBC must be thrilled how this hockey thing is working out.

We caught some of Ottawa's thrilling, 5-3 victory over Anaheim, meaning we were one of, what, 28 people in the state of New Jersey watching the
proceedings.

It was a great, hard-hitting hockey game, with terrific goals, including a controversial kick-in goal by Ottawa, which was down 2-0 in the series and needed a win.

It even had some old-school playoff drama when Ducks defenseman Chris Pronger elbowed forward Dean McAmmond square in the noggin. Pronger was suspended from last night's game.

We couldn't watch the first two games, on Versus, but we weren't alone. Game 1 was watched by 523,000 homes and Game 2 by 446,000.

And it reminds us (ouch) that the Flyers haven't played a game in 58 days, and counting.

The NHL is only still in business because of Canada.  Given that the population of Canada is less than that of California, things don't look good for the NHL...
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

You and rougly 50,000 idiots from Southern Canada (aka upstate New York) will have their eyes glued to the series.

Otherwise, people will be tuning in to the African Watering Hole Channel with more regularity.

farg you, hurricane boy...  :flipoff

Yeah, yeah... I know it's almost a month late, but how often is a black man really gonna visit the NHL thread?
