Baker Mayfield, Cleveland Brown.
Holy farging shtein.
The nfl.com draft page doesn't have enough auto-playing shtein on it, I was eventually able to get it to load.
The Giants couldn't run up to the podium fast enough to get Barkley.

So much for my pipe dream of the Eagles somehow working some Howie Magic to end up with him. farg. :(
Oh my god Cleveland. I mean... oy vey.
the white who freely uses the n word and says white is right will fit in well in buffalo
Quote from: QB Eagles on April 26, 2018, 03:05:43 PMPretty simple. If they come out of the top 4 with a bust QB and another player who doesnt project to be a star for the next decade, they farged up.
Either guy could easily be great but the Browns didn't take safe picks. Can't rule out the fargup scenario.
I'm glad Chubb didn't got to the Giants. Would rather see the Eagles D try to stop Barkley than the Eagles O Line try to stop Chubb.

I feel the same way. Chubb is now the AFC West's problem for the next decade. Would have preferred the Giants take a QB, but this is acceptable. Eli is going to be horrible this year.
beau allen be like

I feel the opposite. I think Lane Johnson would be able to handle Chubb adequately (unless the moves around a lot, depends on what they do). Barkley and ODB on the other hand give me more pause.
saints giving a team with aaron rodgers an extra 1 so they can grab a de
hooray
This is a pathetic attempt by Dallas to create excitement.
Can you imagine what kind of idiot is willing to wait up until midnight to see what guy their team drafted?

absolutely....running backs are irrelevant in the nfl....pass rushers are almost everything
amazing that an nfl PP department cant recognize this

Yeah but the excitement of hearing they traded out completely after watching for four hours can't be matched.
[igy]It's like watching a soccer game that ends in a 0-0 draw. Exciting![/igy]
I'm going to admit obvious bias but last nights draft was completely dull compared to last years on the Philly parkway. There was nothing "Dallas" about the draft. It felt like it was back in NY.

Could be the Super Bowl hangover... could be the Sixer mania... could be that the Eagles were last and it didn't seem like a state secret that they would likely look to trade it... could be the boring MA presentation in JerryWorld
TM... it could be any and all of that, but it just didn't hold my attention like it has in the past.
i was really into because of all the qb drama and loved watching it even if the eagle part of it was lackluster and predictable but to sd's point the atmosphere there was incredibly antiseptic and a joke compared to philly....jerry basically used the draft as an infomercial for his complex
the only thing i liked was the idea of having a handful of fans from each team right by the stage, but thats something that is not in any way exclusive to this draft.
but otherwise, yea, it was awful. the draft itself was actually pretty good and this is from someone that hates drafts. it moved quickly. but you cant go from 50k on the parkway and a concert atmosphere to a couple thou in a giant mall.
The picks themselves had far more intrigue than a typical year. With that many QBs going, a lot of franchises were either built or carpet-bombed for the next half decade.
It's simply awful as an event.
The fans idea was moronic. The best part of having it in a city is to allow that city's fans the chance to celebrate. But sure, having an equal number of Titans and Chargers fans there was an awesome idea. Goodell and his gang of mindless PC drones can suck it raw.
Vince Young sighting! Paging Rusty!!
The Rams own 4 of the 6 picks between 192 and 197.
