All in all, I thought the whole thing was great.  A few references seemed a little forced, but for the most part it was fun.  Dropping his little clip on mic at the end was a perfect finish.

he did a seinfeld one and one for wrestling. i think there are others.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Mandy from The Morning Call.  She's been their Phils beat writer for 10 years.  Basically Allentown's version of Kevin Cooney but not as grotesque

is she part of the amateur porn series mymandygirl?

The Book of Manning was on ESPN tonight and it was pretty good. I used to despise that family because of the Eli draft shenanigans (still think it was bullshtein) but their story is pretty good.

Derrick Thomas' A Football Life was on NFLN and it was excellent. He was one of my all time favorite players. Having spent four years living in Kansas from 1989-1993 I saw many Chiefs games and since then followed his career closely.

I saw the Eagles play in KC in 1992 (the game where Pat farging Beach caught 2 TDs http://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/199210110kan.htm)

Thomas had three sacks that game.

If the Chargers had an actual fanbase to keep the story alive, a lot of people who aren't even Charger fans would still consider Eli a scumbag to this day for the crap he and his dad pulled there. Can you imagine if the Eagles drafted Teddy B and he demanded a trade to a city and team he liked more?

Oh man the backlash would be immense.

What was funny, while watching that documentary Archie said on several occasions how he didn't want to force his sons into going to Ole Miss or interjecting himself into their football lives....

that doc was really good though, i enjoyed the young archie stuff more than anything
