Sunday's Packers-Eagles game was the highest-rated Eagles season opener since 2005, with a 32.7 local rating and 53 share. In 2005, the Eagles faced the Falcons in prime time, garnering a 33.2 household rating. The ratings also bested nine out of 10 season openers this past decade.

Fox's national window - the Eagles-Packers game in 84 percent of the country - was the most-watched opening Sunday NFL regular-season game ever (28 million viewers). The previous record was 25.1 million for Fox's national window (Washington at the New York Giants).

Fox's national window posted the highest household rating (16.5) for an opening Sunday NFL regular-season game in 23 years since 1987's NBC national window, which drew a 16.7 household rating.
