Just reread a series of articles leading up to the Tex Cobb/Larry Holmes fight in '82. The fight was so brutal that Cosell swore afterwards that he would never announce another boxing match. Cobb took a massive beating for 12 rounds but never went down and was screaming about getting drunk and partying after the bell rung to end the fight.

Boxing today sucks.
