Oh, come on...we both know you went in there wanting to scam a casino out of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Can you imagine all the hacks the casinos will have to deal with because of that movie? Of course they'll probably get rich off of it.

Though I have to say, if you can count black jack through 4 decks of cards it isn't technically cheating is it? I mean they offer the game and the odds are on the table for everyone to see. Shaved dice and marked cards or maybe even pocket computers would be cheating and an unfair advantage.

So hard to be an evil genius these days!

counting cards is definitely not cheating.  but if a casino suspects you of it, they can still kick your ass to the curb.

i only lost $70 on friday in ac. i consider that a win. me 1, casinos 0.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Gone Baby Gone. 3.5/5. Good. Not great. Nice 'intro-to-the-big-time' role for Casey Affleck. Also a nice 'intro-to-your-post-acting-career' for Ben Affleck. Amy Ryan was by far the best part. Both Ed Harris and Morgan Freeman were disappointing.

The most effective part of the movie for me was Affleck's perfect representation of poor, white Boston (Dorchester). Less Good Will Hunting and more fat angry white people drinking in the middle of the afternoon with no hope of ever doing anything else. Plus everyone was dressed in slightly baggy track suits with awful tattoos and corny jewelry on their pasty ass skin. It's the Boston uniform. farging hicks.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

True and True.

About a month or so ago, the dude that the movie is based on was a guest on a local sports radio show out here in KC and went on for about 20 minutes or so about his experiences and everything.  He said he hasn't been banned from any casino as long as he stays away from the card tables.  He can play craps, roullete or the slots as often as he likes but he'll basically get thrown out of just about any casino in the world if he gets too close to a blackjack table.

That said, the movie looks like it's going to be on the cheesey side and probably won't do the book any justice.

Some more info on "W"

It sounds like it should be a bit more fun for Bush haters than Bush lovers, but still fun for all.

Sort of.  The character Spacey plays isn't real, but the guy he could most closely be associated with is Asian in real life.

While I was in Dallas my g/f hyjacked my netflix account and used it to watch a few chick flicks while I was away.  No big deal except for the fact that when I got home Sunday afternoon "Good Luck Chuck" was sitting on my coffee table.  :boom

So when we went to bed she turned it on and I started watching it.  My hatred of Dane Cook aside, this was one of the most awful movies ever made.  Not even a half naked Jessica Alba could save this movie.  It was so bad that I went to sleep about 45 minutes into it.  I didn't fall asleep, I closed my eyes and turned away from the television and made myself go to sleep.  It was boring, not funny and had waaaaay too much Dane Cook and not nearly enough Alba.

minus infinity/5

He's easily in the top 3 of my most hated people. He sucks. It's pathetic that this guy gets so much publicity and is considered funny. I have not laughed once at any single joke of his. He's horrible. BAMF ZLOL31

Who's seen A Clockwork Orange? I read the book and it was awesome, but I don't really feel like renting/finding the movie.
