He totally blindsided Harbaugh with the retirement after signing, and Harbaugh wasn't a fleshpop about it when asked at the PC today. Classier than you expect in the NFL.

Jordan Matthews didn't make the San Francisco 53.

This whole "The Eagles are getting the band back together" joke is going too far now.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Kiko Alonso will now be wearing a smedium Saints jersey

Diomedes

Which is more likely, that his season is shortened by another head injury, or by a suspension for dirty play?

Depends on if they would ever suspend for jumping on a pile 3 seconds after the whistle.

Joe Douglas is showing what a GM would be doing without any psychological loyalty to his draft picks getting in the way. Cut the previous regime's 2019 3rd round pick (#68 overall) without hesitation.

Treyvon Hester signs with Washington too

Diomedes

No Hester, no Double-Doink.  Good luck, sir.

In other scrub news:  Apparently, Wendell Smallwood was the player most claimed over the weekend.  Four teams put in for him: Washington, Colts, Jaguars, and Bengals.

Not too shocking. He's a good back. Surprising that Wash grabbed him since they've got Peterson and Guice. Unless they're gonna pump him for intel for the gameplan/offense and then cut him.

He would've fit nicely in Indy

QB Eagles

Is he a good back, or is he a serviceable back when he has a top O-line and defenses are expecting pass because the offense is running RPOs all the time? Guess we'll find out.
