Solid signing. They needed a SAM, they got a decent one.

a little beat down never hurt anyone...which is good cause they cannot afford to lose any LB

The days of Mormons and uptight college coaches are over. It's time for Eagles players to beat, rape, and get popped for drugs like a normal team.

Is he as good or better than Marcus "HOF" Smith?

He's better and has played well.

We got some guys with some dog in them now! Beatin' dudes up over an umbrella and now a weapons charge.

Dog as in 'fight in them' or 'size of brain in them'?

QuotePhiladelphia Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham spent part of his bye week in jail -- after he was arrested for trying to bring a LOADED GUN through a Miami airport ... TMZ Sports has learned.
According to the police report, obtained by TMZ Sports, the 27-year-old had put his backpack through the X-ray machine at Miami International when TSA workers noticed a loaded firearm.
Bradham told workers he forgot the gun was in the bag -- and showed officials his concealed weapons permit.
Officials say "it was clear that there was no criminal intent on his part" -- but say they could not just cite and release Bradham since he's still out on bond stemming from a July assault case.
Bradham was taken into custody and booked for a 2nd degree misdemeanor concealed weapons charge. He was released from custody later that day on a $300 bond.
As for the assault case -- Bradham was arrested back in July for allegedly punching an employee at a Miami hotel. He's due back in court for that case on Wednesday.

Both?

The more guys with convictions the better they are.

Maybe he could stay away from Miami for a little while.

he had a gun in his bag at the airport, ran it through the x ray

simply forgot it was there....or is brain dead beyond comprehension

I can't say I'm shocked by this story but I am a little surprised. With all the training and instruction they are hand fed about things like safety, gun laws and proper airport procedure, good to see the tsa can actually spot a gun in luggage x-ray.

Awesome news.  That will teach any unsuspecting 50 year-old cabana boy to hurry his ass up next time!

 :-D

I can see this being a 'training case' for new cabana boys.

"Ok guys, time is money. And your face's well being".

No, they didn't re-sign him...but, I know he's done some zesty stuff but every other week there's a clip of him doing charity work in the city. He went around to the poorer neighborhoods last night and handed out turkeys and meals. He's embracing the city, I hope he comes back on a fair deal.

Downside of a season like this is that there's necessarily going to be an exodus of players and coaches that we would rather not lose. Maybe he can assault another old man and sour teams on him.

I got excited that he was re-signed

Gotta bring him back. One of you go let him slug you in the face to lower the price

Back on a 5 year deal.  :yay

That's a relief.  Schwarz liked him enough to put the radio helmet on him after Hicks went down, and despite his obvious lack of real world intelligence, he proved capable of handling that duty on top of being the first linebacker in recent Eagles memory to establish a reputation for punishing the opposition.

i hope this doesnt mean kendricks is getting traded

its a big if but if hicks can come back and stay healthy and they keep kendricks a worrisome position becomes one of the teams strongest

Rappaport mentioned he's hearing Kendricks is on the trade market

I agree with you though, I never saw the need to get rid of Kendricks. His salary isn't crippling and he's a good WIL. I don't know if it matters much but the LB they signed from Denver (Nelson) who's a career STer is a WIL too.

kendricks is gone...they arent taking a 7.5 mil cap hit for a lb who plays 30% of snaps.

i trust him more than hicks but if they can get back some picks for him its not the worst thing in the world

Seems like they've been shopping Kendricks practically since they drafted him...yet he keeps showing up on the roster and being a really good linebacker. Unless they get blown away by an offer, I hope he's back.

especially because with bradham locked in now they are pretty much done this off season other than draft picks of which they dont have many..plus kendricks is much more valuable to the eagles than whatever draft capital he would bring in a trade which wouldnt be much

if you are trying to win next season and obviously they are going all out to repeat then there is zero reason to get rid of kendricks

And bringing Bradham back was my biggest thing I wanted to see this offseason

Talking about what he can improve at his contract presser: "First and foremost, my hands. I left a lot of pick-sixes out there".
