The University of Alabama is expected to make Dolphins coach Nick Saban a lucrative offer as early as Sunday evening. This according to the Miami Herald.

Reportedly, Alabama officials and Saban's agent, Jimmy Sexton have spoken at least three times since Mike Shula was dismissed. Alabama is expected to offer more than the $15 million that Saban is owed by the Dolphins for the remaining three years of his contract. The difference could amount to a guarantee in the $40 million range.


This would make Saban the highest-paid college coach. He has repeatedly denied interest in the Alabama job.
