It drives me insane when I see NFL coaches who keep operating in the flats and short distances outside the hashes. Especially when the defenses are now squatting on the routes.

Do they outsmart themselves? Ego to stick with game plan?

Newsflash - it ain't working. Try pushing the ball down the field

Plus it's gummed up the box for your backs to find holes

I was in attendance for the wild 6-3 shootout between the Browns and Bills in 2009 at Ralph Wilson. Brutal.
