I forgot to mention that Coldplay was the surprise guest. I could take or leave them but there's no denying the lead singer's talent. Tens of thousands of college girls went squish during their set.

Saw them up at Metlife a few months ago. My buddy is plowing some married girl who gets really good seats, so we were 5 rows from the stage. Incredible show but I'm in the same boat I'm so so on their music. As mentioned Chris Martin is very talented.

Saw the Red Hot Chili Peppers in Denver tonight. They were awesome.

However...

The opening band was really great too. If you haven't seen Trombone Shorty in concert I highly recommend them.

I just saw them over the weekend too. Spent three days at Austin City Limits and they were probably the best show of all three days. The Killers rocked, Jay-Z put on a good show, Ice Cube rocked out for an hour, the Gorrilaz were good.

This was probably my last multi-day music festival. Think it's a combo of all the mushrooms I ate and old age, but I feel like death.
