Well let’s see. One party’s animating principle is hatred of government. One party has a history of shutting the government down. One party controls the house and refused to bring a vote to reauthorize the bipartisan CHIP program. One party’s leader threw a racist temper tantrum and rejected a bipartisan DACA bill. Surprise! That’s all the same party.

But sure, both parties are at fault. Definitely.

farg the GOP.

Autopsy: Roy Halladay died from blunt force trauma, had morphine in system during plane crash

Quote
The body of two-time Cy Young winner Roy Halladay showed evidence of morphine, an amphetamine and the sleeping medication Ambien when it was examined after his fatal plane crash off the coast of Florida in November, according to the autopsy report obtained by USA TODAY Sports on Friday.

The report by the Pinellas-Pasco Medical Examiner’s Office also showed that Halladay's blood alcohol content was .01. The antidepressant fluoxetine (Prozac) was also detected.

Not sure what all this means, but that seems like a bad mix of medication.

Boxing was once king of all sports.  These things change.

so was horse racing

boxing isnt as popular anymore because theres so many more options not because of the physical damage it does and theres more talented boxers now than there has ever been

even today in its diminished popularity there are few sporting events more popular than a huge fight

Sure, football will continue in our lives, but it's dying.   Literally every year, less talent is going into football, and more is going into other sports.  And despite what Todd thinks, plenty of poor black mothers are making the same call.  I've spoken to a few about it and heard from they own mouths.

F'n Ed Reed said he won't let his kids play.  Trust me, people hear that kind of thing.

Boxing was once king of all sports.  These things change.

If repeated sub-concussive head hits are the issue, soccer is going down along with football.
